Hi. My name is Chrissy and I am a transitioning male to female. I found Susan's Place and it looks like you all are a great family and the site and you appear to be a great resource; so I am happy to be here.

It has been a long journey for me, and I am still not there. With your support I hope I will get the courage to meet with a therapist and doctor soon to start HRT. I definitely feel fem but don't look so fem now. Hopefully, HRT will assist with that.

If anybody can help me understand the process and what to expect, that would be awesome.

Thx Padma, I start looking over the site. I am in Colorado so I just checking in to see if I have to go to a counselor before a doctor for HRT. Trying to make it a simple for me as possible. Also, I was curious what kind of changes to expect of the first few months, so I can be ready for them...

Hi Chrissy - Welcome!!!  I'm new too (mtf) - have no idea what to expect...  But first stop was been a gender therapist to help me sort it out.  Sounds like you're off to a good start.  How's it going since your original post?  Keep posting, and enjoy some peace along the way - Holly
