I got asked this at a panel I was doing for the local LGBT group, and I said that it depended on the person and genetics. But she wanted to know what the average was, and I replied I didn't know. So here is a survey, what is the average for body hair loss.

For me personally it has only thinned and still grows everywhere. Then again i'm Italian. :)

I was amazed at how much it stopped growing in most areas that are not normal for female hair growth, not that I was particularly hairy to start with, thank goodness.  Only one tiny patch on my back, and chest hair is minimal now.  Most of it just stopped growing after about a year of the spiro.   Even on my legs, they only need shaving about every 5-6 days in summer.   Before HRT, they needed it every 2-3 days.   I feel very lucky in my results, and don't perceive doing any laser/electro on the body.  Except for around my belly button, I can't figure that one out  :-\

Not being very hairy to start, I would say I have a more A typical female body hair growth pattern, and it didn't take long at all......

I started being fairly hairy.  Arms, legs, chest, back.  But it is all getting finer and grows slower.

Terra, before i started hrt i was not overly hairy, most of my body hair was not real thick or course and i only had a few chest hairs, after being on hrt for 9 months things have dramatically changed, my leg and underarm hair has slowed growth and i only have to shave them once a week and my chest hair has stopped growing altogether. So i answered natural woman's growth areas. The one thing that has not changed and i don't expect it to is my facial and neck hair and i am removing these areas with laser.

Paula.

Thank gawd I'm not the only one. Atleast it's easy to wax?

Apart from that I've never had much body hair, but I still get real paranoid about my arms.

I've been on HRT for going on 8 months and my body hair as slowed and thinned but its still there. Prior to HRT I was extremely hairy. Face, neck, back, arms, legs, chest. I looked like a monkey, I swear!

Hair on my arms and legs has slowed the most. The hair on my back hardly grows at all now and only near my waist line. Face is still a problem though. I have really dark facial hair.

Been on HRT for 17 years :)

Never was hairy before and never had a single hair on my chest or back. Really only have a little hair on my lower legs and under my arms and down there. Wish i had more really as my lesbian friends tease me about it mercilessly!
