Helm is the god of guardians, protectors, and protection. He is the epitome of the guardian, the watcher, the guard, and has been greatly venerated by those who need to remain watchful for evil at their doorsteps. Helm use to be a much more powerful god, but has fallen on hard times. During the "Time of Troubles," when all other gods were cast from the heavens by the overlord AO, he remained to guard the gate to the heavens so that the other gods could not return. As a result of his actions many powerful gods died at his hands.(He was just doing his job,lol) As a result of this, the number of his followers declined greatly, thinking that he had betrayed his true nature. Little did they know that the overlord AO, had given him the task or protecting the heavens, the very thing his "nature" is comprised of. Helm always appears as a giant of a man in full plate armor, his face concealed by his helm.
