Ever science I was young, I wanted to be a girl, but my mother said I was a boy.
during the years of school, I use to skip. and dress as a girl all day long, until school was out, that made me happy.
As an adult I had to be a man, so I married, because that is what I was expected of me,
I was never sad or happy about it, now I my drive or my other self, the one I should be is growing stronger, and the more I look back, the more I know I have done myself a injustices.
For the last ten years, I tried to get help from a therapist but to no avail,so I took matters in my own hands and research a lot of articles and reports, and started to transition on my own
I am tring to keep this short
Love to all

Hi Nancy,   :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 1660 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another sister.   :icon_hug:

Hi Nancy,

I thought you were going to confess that you're really Jean Valjean, but I guess that only happens in nineteeth-century Freanch novels and musicals.

As long as we have your word you're not an escaped prisoner, welcome!

All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.

Hi Nancy Ann and welcome,

I think you'll find many friends here with similar stories. Feeling Fem. and expected to be the man you never wanted to be.
I started cross dressing in my teens. Did many things that were expected of me. Got married and divorced etc. Never did feel comfortable. Now in my forties I am finally coming to terms with who I am and how I feel. I've been transitioning on my own because there are not much for resources where I live. I did find recently that you can access Gender Therapists on line. So I am considering to try that.
The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

maybe i should go and live In the 19th century, things were easier then, and you knew who you could talk to.
I am about to start my own hrt,
I have tried to talk to a therapy, but they wanted money up front, and I could not afford it.
tried a therapist online and got someone who would give a letter of recommendation after only one visit on line, and after only 4 visit you could get a letter for gender replacement surgery is that a good thing or a bad thing
I will start my own hrt,and this is not the first time I have done this, and the only reason I stopped, because every one said I should.
Love to all NamcyAnn
