The Girl Beyond The Glass

Another poem I found during "the cleaning up process".  I just want to share them here (I hope you don't mind).  Someone may benefit from them. 

The Girl Beyond The Glass

I always felt when I looked into the mirror
There was someone looking back from there
Somewhere beyond where I could see
Awaited the one who was the real me
She's the girl beyond the glass

And as I'd look into her eyes
I'd see the soul past the disguise
But still I tried to live a lie
And keep her locked away inside
She's the girl beyond the glass

And there within the mirror she waited
Soflty calling out to me
With a desire that never faded
She longed to be free
She's the girl beyond the glass

Now so many years have passed
And still she waits beyond the glass
But at last she's breaking through the fear and doubt
And the girl inside the mirror is coming out
She's the girl beyond the glass.

This is beautiful, Tink.  And is so true to those still searching.  In my case, I think it is now "The Girl On This Side of the Glass".
