Where Does Depo-T Come From?

I've gone around in circles for a short time while I was trying to figure this out, and I've decided to give up and take the easy way. I forgot to ask my doctor, and I won't be seeing him again for a little while. Does anyone here know offhand where Depo-T comes from? I'm sure there aren't any wino T-donors showing up to have it extracted for twenty dollars a pop.

So where DOES it come from? Slaughtered animals? A mad scientist who compounds junk in a lab? Alien abductors with huge heads and six fingers?

Okay... no. Pretty certain it's synthetic. I just did a pretty extensive internet search, but could find nothing on depo-T's origins. The world may never know...
