Hello everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to say hello and not be a lurker.  I am 38 and have been crossdressing in one way or another for most of my life.  I have had a very hard time accepting this about myself and it has cost me dearly in my personal life.

Recently I have decided to begin working hard to come to terms with my feelings related to dressing and this is part of that commitment to myself.  I hope that by reaching out to others like myself it will help me come to terms and accept myself for who I am.

I am not really sure what else to say and will happily answer any questions you all may have.  I am looking forward to becoming involved in discussions here.

Hello and Welcome, Mark!

It took me quite a while to come to terms with my cross dressing and I succeeded.  (It took alot longer to realize that that wasn't the end of the story, however).  In any event, I'm happy you found us.  This is a great site for both information and personal support and I hope you find it as helpful, or more, as I have.

again, WELCOME ! !  :)

Welcome Mark,
I'm glad to meet you.
Are you a male to female cross dresser or a female to male?
Hope to read more of your postings.

Jillieann,

In response to your question I am a male to female crossdresser.  At this time I do not have a desire to go out dressed.  For the most part I wear lingerie under my clothes.  It is not just a sexual stimulous but one that I hind to be soothing throughout the day.  When I am getting stressed and I am wearing something under my clothes I can sit back and just think about it.  It helps me cope.

I once had a female friend who was explaining to me and some other guys that sometimes she liked to wear sexy lingerie not hor anyone else than herself.  It made her feel good and she like the feeling of having a sexy little secret that no one else knew about.  I could really relate to those comments.

Hello Mark, and welcome.

While I'm much closer to the transsexual then the crossdresser area, I have always felt that dressing is an important part of myself, and I suspect, of most of us. Afterall, why wouldn't we - society certainly does. I sure agree with the attitude of your friend, dress sexy for yourself even if only with your underwear!
