Wow I didn't think anyone got that much growth!

I'm only a size 4...but I'm cool with that...I can wear shoes from the Disney Shop  ;D

Aiden

wow... so what size are you now?  I haven't noticed growth for myself yet but haven't been on T long.  Not that am to concenred about it.  I wear a size 9 mens anyways
Every day we pass people, do we see them or the mask they wear?
If you live under a mask long enough, does it eventually break or wear down?  Does it become part you?  Maybe alone, they are truly themselves?  Or maybe they have forgotten or buried themselves so long, they forget they are not a mask?

Really? Good. I need that hope. I'm size 7. :( Buying good-looking shoes is an incredibly trying task. I live by Converse and the amazing way their store has no boy/girl separation, and has both size comparisons on every box.

most people who are on T that I have talked said their feet grew between 1.5-2.5 sizes. I don't know if it depends on anything, but it seems really common.  I wear an 8.5-9 so I wouldn't mind going up a size or 2

This actually makes me sad:(  I love my many shoes, and would be very sad to see them go.  The price we pay . . .

There are times when I am glad I only have one pair of shoes.  However, my boots are another matter...  hiking boots, steel-toes, cross-country ski boots--both classic and skating, motorcycle boots, winter boots.  Then there are the roller blades and ice skates...  Not looking forward to replacing the footwear associated with sports/recreation; stuff is expensive, and most guys have bigger feet than I do (size 8, mens), so buying used is difficult.  Ah well.

Somehow I missed the whole "Your feet grow on T thing" but that's great news for me because I wear a size 7 1/2 in men's. It would be way easier if my feet grew even just one size.

It's really funny... I was CERTAIN my feet had grown 1 1/2 sizes on T. Then I thought back, and realized that yes, I did wear a size 8-8 1/2 men's for years, then all of a sudden was wearing 10. No mistake. Problem is, I started wearing a size 10 in August of '07, and I didn't start T until December '07.

I'm a moron, and I have no idea. :P

wow... so what size are you now?

I started out with tiny feet -- 6-1/2 woman's.  So now I'm 9 woman's (or, when I can find a good pair, a men's 7-1/2).  I hope I reach men's 8 some day.

I like having larger feet now... looks more natural.

But yeah, it's expensive, growing this much so quickly.  Payless Shoes has become my best friend.  As far as athletic shoes go, it's not much more expensive than it's always been for me.  I run long-distance, so I've always needed to replace my running shoes every 2 months anyhow.

Let's all just be glad we do not wear a size 2&1/2 in girl's like someone in my French class does.

er......hum.....I wonder.

I have not yet started on hormone therapy ( due very soon to begin ) but this M to F has a female sz 4 to 5 ( Euro 38 ) depending upon shoe maker, might I reasonably expect a reduction?  Heck, more expense !!

not sure it works that way,  bones more likely to grow than shrink

I was thinking perhaps soft tissue reduction rather than bones though given my size, I may have a genetic benefit anyway.  My general muscle mass has diminished greatly through lack of work following my strokes thus my inquiry was perhaps based on this loss etc....

I sure hope my feet don't grow too much I am 6'0 and wear a size 12 in mens already...I don't think trying to find a 14 would be much fun.  Yikes!!!

I'll have to add this onto my list of things then. I already have rather big feet (size 42 which is a men's 8 1/2 in the US version). Thankfully I only have one pair of shoes I actually wear..

So, you guys on T, do your feet get wider in comparison to the length?  I certainly hope so.  My feet are long enough for men's shoes, but even women's shoes are way too wide.  Mens' completely swamp my feet.  (But then, both my dad and my mom's dad had A width feet, so I'm pretty much screwed on both sides.)
  •

Luc

Wish I could tell you they do, dude, but mine have always been wide... I had to wear men's shoes before even thinking about transition because women's were too narrow. Heh heh... was a good (and truthful) excuse to get my mom to buy me men's shoes when I was growing up.
