I have been wanting to tell my one neighbor pretty soon because they saw me going dressed to my therapist a couple months ago, as the weather gets nicer they will be out allot, and i get real anxious leaving since then. Today was the day i told them, it was a nice spring day and she and her husband were out so after some chit chat i got down too it and asked if they saw me a couple months ago they said no and went on to say they said they don't see that great and just wave when i go out. I explained briefly that i had issues with my gender identity since i was young and what i was doing and where i was going and don't be surprised if they see me dresses as Paula, they seemed truly interested in what i was saying. After i told them it was like no big deal and i have their support, she even gave me a hug. They said we, my grandmother, mother and I,  were the only ones to welcome them to the neighborhood when they moved i many years ago.

My other neighbor is older and i saw her out a bit later, i asked about her foot and she sprained it, and like my other neighbor after i explained it to her she said whatever i needed to do to be happy was alright with her, not sure if she really understands it but i have her support too.

My therapist will be glad to hear i came out to them, he knows how much anxiety it has been causing me.

Paula.

Yes, congratulations Paula.  It's always nice to hear success stories.  They give the rest of us hope.

I still have to tell my neighbors.  I'm a little concerned but don't have to worry about it for a while because we don't get nice weather here for another 6 weeks or so.  When it's snowing like crazy, like this morning, everyone just waves to each other because it's too awful to stop and talk.

One step at a time, Paula.  ;)

Congratulations, Paula. 8)

It is good to be open and out with the neighbors.  You don't have to worry about them now and they might even say Hi to Paula.  :D

As far as my neighbors are concerned I could carel ess.  If they don't care for me, don't talk to me or move your RV.

Hi Paula
A good move now you can be yourself in the garden etc. I have been fortunate that no body I'v told has had a "bad" reaction. I think we (the royal we) read too much into what people think. I remeber telling one of my sisters-in-law. She just said, I've known that for years, been waiting for you to tell me.
