5 o'clock shadow

Hm..I recently had my first laser hair removal and about to go into my second session in about 2 more weeks. My problem is i still have a SHADOW!! I look into the mirror but the hair is gone..there are tiny hairs but i can understand that but my shadow makes it seem like i have a full regrowth..is this hyperpigment?? or..will it lighten up over time..or what will i need to do in order to lighten this area up??
here are examples of my upper lip

Hi Sabrina,
Could be your skin tone too. I have seen the same thing with bios African-American women. You may wish to consult a makeup specialist for cover.
Is it truly just shadow or underlaying hair"

Sabrina it takes awhile for the shadow to leave its just because of the hair cells the area my be darker until you complete your laser session thats all 😉
