More than 30 homophobic attacks have been reported since an innovative scheme was set up in Chiswick to tackle hate crime against gay, bisexual and transsexual residents.

An i-kiosk information system was installed at the Birdcage pub on Chiswick High Road three months ago to allow victims to report attacks or abuse without having to go to the police.
