A week later, Kuechmann attacked a self-described "transgender woman" at a North Park Community Park. The victim testified that Kuechmann said he would give her a ride to her car, but he took her to the park, where he demanded sex at gunpoint.
Kuechmann was captured by police on Aug. 27 outside the apartment building of his last victim, a transvestite he had met near Malena's Bar in Logan Heights.
