Greetungs everyone, this is my introduction.

I was born a male in a female body I have always thought that I should have been born a male. I did not find out until recently that there were others who new that they were either born male but meant to me female or born female meant to be male. Alright, well I did a search for transgender forums because i was looking for an understanding comunity. The search was through google search engine and the first one on the page was this site. I will be honest i looked at a couple of other ones first but they did not seem to be exactly what i was looking for and then i came to check this site out and I believe I will like being apart of this community. Now on to things I havelearned throughout my life thus far, for I am only 20.

I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.


I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.


I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.


I've learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life."

I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.


I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.


I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you.


I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.


I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.


I've learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love that human touch - holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

I have learned people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel...

And thats pretty much it. Anyways I hope to make some new friends here and I hope to make a good friend for someone else. Thanks Rick.

Welcome to our little family. Over 1800 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.

a) a rainy day - No different really.  If I have to work, I work in my yellow rain slicker and I'll take extra sox, and perhaps other items so I can have dry stuff.  But if I'm off, I'll take walks like I normally do, take pictures, ride my bike.  Actually when it rains in Santa Rosa it can be amazingly pretty, and SF always looks good in the rain.

b) lost luggage ) well I try to carry everything with me I need, so I don't have to check it.  If I do, and they do - which they will, which is why I don't want to check it in the first place - I tell them where I'm staying, and they deliver it, just like they always do.  My bags have flown far more miles then I have.  I just think that when the airlines do that, that we should get the miles on our account for the extra miles the bags flew that we didn't.

c) tangled Christmas tree lights?  Oh perish the thought.  I have a way of wrapping them in the first place so they never get tangled. But, I'm willing to bet I could untangel them better than anyone else in here because I do it on a daily basis with huge cables, and you start at one end and work your way to the other end.
