Some of the rules have been relaxed since 2009.  For instance, you can post a picture in a thread now, prior to having 15 posts.  I believe a brand new member can view other members profiles too.

Good post,this! I was assuming it was just me being my usual techno-fail self with this profile thingy.

...of course, I will quite likely find a way to fail at it even when I am allowed to edit  :laugh:

Just keep something in mind.  If the administrators think you are "post padding," that can be delayed.
