... Just this last Friday from the day I am posting this. I'm so happy and excited... I'm on a constant, impatient watch for changes. The only thing I think I feel is genuine and not my imagination is my nipples being kinda itchy or aching... it's like, 3 days in now. I am getting two different injections: one every 3 months that I go in to see my doctor for, and the other every 2 weeks that I can do myself pretty soon. Maybe one other effect is that I'm feeling more mellow? I'm just not sure... xx But if anyone's interested I can share my experiences here... I was reported after testing to have a little less than average testosterone level (still in normal range). I already had a little bit of breast development from the get-go. I'm 18 years old, 19 near the end of next month, and I've been told I should be getting very good results...

Estrogen will make you smell like a woman - so you will have to reevauate your perfumes, colognes and powders

Estrogen will also change the way pets and children react to your body scent

you WILL spill some of your pills down the sink hole - so make it a habit to keep it closed

Pills disappear somehow - so be careful that you can make the prescription time

My mood's been fluctuating oddly... from what I've been aware of that is normal...

(First off, ignore the crazy talk about loosing pills. There is bound to be an issue you are having that is not applicable to anyone else. I started Hormone Replacement Therapy 6 months ago ~ unfortunately, I am a few years older.)

How are the injections? I have gotten so used to my morning downing of 6 pills and 2 Vitamin C tablets (for good measure) each morning and am starting to become curious about the other methods. Especially considering at the moment, I am staring down another prescription change in about two weeks.

Your sex drive is gonna go on vacation depending upon the mix your doctor feels is right for you. That is something we all experience.

Well, I bet you are absolutely excited. I know you are excited to see results but in all honesty you will not see them. It is hard to notice changes cause they will be so slow and minor that I intentionally went the last 3 months without being near a camera. It is so cool looking at a photo a month before hormoens and one from about 3 weeks ago. So, many people commented on it too. I wish you all the luck in the world and if you ever wanna chat. Myself or a lot of other people here will be more than willing.

Thanks everyone, I'm almost at a month on hormones. My chest has been aching; that's the thing I've noticed and felt the most. I know it's just going to get worse, too. o.o

The estrogen shots are going to be done at home, now. It's not painful, really... and it's every two weeks. It's supposed to be very safe.

yes same here. I'm right at 3 weeks in and my nipples are somewhat swollen and are very sensitive, sometimes even painful, to the touch. I keep hoping this is a good sign lol

That's what's happening with me... I think it is a good sign. It used to be that I'd have to brush them somehow to feel anything, but now I also feel itching/aching without them making contact with anything... it can hurt quite a bit if they do make contact with anything. I'm using a heat pad... thingy... to help with the pain. o.o
