Gender Equality

The European Union are set to bring in some ground breaking legislation with all EU countries required to outlaw discrimination between Men and Women in terms of employment, pay and conditions.

Article 2006/54 is set to replace individual acts that exist already in some EU countries BUT for the first time in EU Law & case history, a specific mention of discrimination due to Gender Reassignment (page 1, Clause 3) is included in the requirement, which further clarifies the legal status of transsexual people in Europe.
