So tonight I'm going to a party where most of the people I'll be hanging with are my girlfriend's friends, and they all know me as a male. I'm kinda nervous. Not sure why, I'm gonna fro up the hair since it's 80s themed, so I'll definitely pass, no problems there. And it's def. gonna be fun cause I looooove parties, and meeting new people isn't a problem for me. I guess I'm just nervous since this is technically the first time I've been in this situation. Usually it's people who know I'm trans, or people who don't know/are unsure what gender I am. And somehow I feel perfectly comfortable when people have no idea. These people are gonna think I'm a bio-male, and although I'm excited to see how that will be like, I'm also scared that something will go wrong and they'll all find out and then suddenly become real bitches towards me, or treat me like a girl or something horribly awful.



I dunno.
Hugs or reassurance would be nice.

When my gf started introducing me to her friends, she presented me with male pronouns and everything because that's how she sees me. At that time I was trying to pass, but people would either see me as male or female...

It was a tad bit embarrassing at times because you feel see-thru and sometimes I got weird looks, but no one said anything.

listen, just relax. nobody's going to 'find you out'. everybody there knows you as a bioguy, so for all intents and purposes, you are. just relax and have a good time. if by some freak accident, you get outed, just play it cool and act like it's no big deal 'yeah, i'm trans, so?' everything's going to be smooth.

I'm about to leave. Thanks for the encouragement. Feelin a bit queasy but then again I just had a sandwich which wasn't too amazing. But I do admit, I look hot. Gives me a little more confidence.

Turns out all the couples, including us, spent most of the time getting hot and heavy on the dance floor so there wasn't much talking done. I had a great time. I do wish I'd been able to stay longer and actually get to know some of them but turned out I had to leave a little early, which was lame, but oh well. It was worth it.
