Lots of news relating to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression related legislation in the recent news. Below is a sampling of five stories on LGBT related legislation.

From the Philadelphia Bulletin's PA House Committee Passes Sexual Orientation Bill:

In its meeting yesterday, the House State Government Committee gave consideration to House Bill (HB) 300, and decided to send the controversial legislation to the full House for a vote.  The committee vote was along party lines, with the majority Democrats prevailing 12-11.  HB 300  would protect people who live or work in Pennsylvania from discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or expression in employment, housing, credit and public accommodations.
