For the M2F SRS, do they remove the prostate? Since really the prostates function is to produce semen I was just curious to know if they removed it or what.

thanks

No, it is not removed, to remove it would greatly reduce the ability to hold urine in as well as post recovery sexual satisfaction. (and for the record, prostate fluid is but one part of male ejaculate)
Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr.

No! They leave the prostate just where it is.

Since it encircles the urethra it's in a very tricky place.
Removing it can easily cause incontinence.
That's why prostate cancer can be a very big deal, (besides killing you).
Don't worry, on female hormones the incidence of prostate cancer goes way down.

The prostate gland excretes a small amount of prostatic fluid, i.e. "pre-cum".
