Tomorrow is mommy's b-day... what to get her?

Gah. My brother and I have no clue what to get our mom. I mean, we know we're going to get her a big warm robe because when we're comfortable, she's cold. always complaining it's cold. lol.

but what else can we get her? we want something she's going to use every day, or often... but we've got no idea what. *blinks*

I try to do the same thing and get stuff that my mom will use. My mom loves to cook so for Christmas I got her a lot of cooking materials.

If you want to get her stuff she'll use play off of her interests. What does she do?

Oh gosh, she's mainly artistic, but she has more than enough art supplies. She likes to manipulate everything, like she can never leave anything the way it is. lol. She doesn't really do much lately, due to a couple different things, so I'm not sure what she'd have time for right now.

My mom is also an artist. Though she doesn't ever seem to have enough art supplies.

Is there anything new she's working on? Perhaps you could get her a book on something she wants to study.

Haha, well, my mum is a pack rat, so she stocks up a lot. she's not working on anything right now that I know of, since we're moving. and I'm not sure what she would want to study.. lol.

how about a day at the spa to relax from taking care of you and your brother? I always try to get my mom something she wants, but would never buy for herself. other past gifts include the automated jar opener thingy, a bathtub spa thing and misc electronic gadgets (ipod, cameras, easy to use remote controls, lol)

do you have a budget in mind?

Well, we dun have the money to send her to an actually spa, though that would be nice. But she does like to take long bubble baths at night to relax her legs. Maybe we could get her some spa things for teh tub. I think we did that before...

That's what I've got my Mum for Mother's Day, because I am unimaginative, and she's hard to buy for...

I like the spa stuff for your bathroom idea.  I think people don't really ever pamper themselves much, especailly in this finacial climate no matter where you live, so that would allow her to spend sometime on herself.

Blue: I thought about that. But, she never goes out. So we don't know what her fave shop is, lol.

Myles: yeah, we got her this huge basket one christmas and she loved it. But they don't have anything as big as that one at anywhere except for Christmas. lol.

We decidded, though. We're going to get her a big aromatherapy basket. Gonna fill it with all kinds of oils and scents and stuff. Lol. She's been running low from what I'm told so we figured it'd be perfect. ^.^
