The New Hampshire House has voted to make the state the third one to allow gays to marry.
The chamber voted 186-179 to send a gay marriage bill to the Senate.
The bill's future is uncertain in the Senate. Also, Democratic Gov. John Lynch has said he opposes gay marriage, but hasn't said whether he would veto the legislation if it made it to his desk.
