This is a poem I wrote on a whim recently. It's pretty generic.

There is a Man

There is a man
I shun him
He never cares
I mock him
He never cries
I starve him
He never minds
I hurt him
He never moves
I embarrass him
He never hides

And should I fall
He will break it

There is a man
He never quits
I never try
He never argues
I never listen
He is accepting
I am demanding
He creates strength
I sap it away
He never breaks
I'm already broken

And he is my shield
All worn and cracked

There is a man
Facing my fears
Absorbing my pain
Concealing my failures
I do not deserve this man
But there he is day after day

Performing a thankless job
For one as ungrateful as I

I think I have meet this individual.

"I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?" - Fred Rogers
