Hello, im new to this site and have always wondered if there were more people who felt the same way that I do, im currently try to go from male to female, but i know that my mother wont go for it. She is a big god put you into this world as you are now kind of person. My girlfriend of more than 1 year showed me this site as she is also currently trying to change sex's. Her step-mom and dad completly believe her that she wants to change and are willing to get her a therpist but once they found out that I want to change too they didn't believe a thing. As of now there are only four people who know that I want to change and half of those people don't believe me. What id like to know is if anyone could give me any ideas on how to let my mom and some of my closest friends know that i want to change without pushing them away from me.

As for family problems: (please treat this as a bit of fun )
I'm attracted to the opposite sex, but the opposite sex wants to be the opposite sex, when we are both the opposite sex, we will still be attracted to the opposite sex. So we will have a totally conventional relationship; What's the problem again?

How's this:
God made you as you are - a woman who happens to have a male body.  Perhaps this is a test for you or for those around you.  To walk in Chirst's path requires acceptance of those who are different.  [and so forth.  I get a little lost here, but you get the idea.]

Also, sometimes patience is needed.  I know that's difficult when you are young (I remember), but hitting others with too much strange (to them) information at once doesn't work.  We all shut down at some point and refuse to accept any more.  You've been thinking about this longer than your mother has.  Maybe you just need to give her time.
