On this day, so many people across the world are remembering Angie Zapata with so many emotions.
Few of those knew this young woman personally and had she lived in better times with more knowledge, tolerance and acceptance, perhaps Angie would have never become a household name. Perhaps she would have. We will never know.

She was violently robbed of her most valuable possession- her life. And so we will never know what her whole long life story would have been or of the lives she may have touched.
