I saw my doctor today and we went over my results from the liver specialist.  She said to diet and exercise more.  however she gave me a prescription for hormones for one month.   :icon_biggrin:  Yay!!    :icon_biggrin:  She wants me to come back for more blood tests before she'll prescribe more.  Makes sense to me.  I'm just happy to finally be able to start

Congrats Sylvie.

Best of luck to you.

I'm a bit jealous at this point in my transition, but enough about me.

You go, grow, girl.

Thank you all very much.  It has now been 2 days since I started taking the pills.  So far I haven't noticed anything at all different other than less stressed out.  It feels like I have passed a major hurdle and now it truly feels like I can finally heal and be myself.  I am looking forward to the future now and all of the changes that are to come

Be prepared for the 'aching nipples'. That's all I have to say. xD

LOL.   I remember when you started going through that.  It's been six days now, but no aching nipples.  However, they are a whole lot more sensitive than they ever have been before.  A slight breeze and they're like HELLO.   :o

I've also been a lot more relaxed and mello.  I don't know if that's because of the hormones or just happy.

It made me feel really good!....... serene and happy.
The "flavour" of my anger changed too..... and I got a lot more susceptible to the weepy parts of films etc.
I had walnut-sized hard bits under my nipples which I suddenly noticed whilst bathing about 5 weeks in.
My skin quickly got less greasy and my sweat took on a scent that I recognised as distinctly feminine!

Congratulations hun - you're going to love it   :)
To those who understand, I extend my hand
To the doubtful I demand, take me as I am
Not under your command, I know where I stand
I won't change to fix your plan, Take me as I am (Dreamtheatre - As I Am)
I started out with nothing..... and I still have most of it left.

Congratulations.  It has been two weeks for me and I have really mellowed out also.  My nipples haven't gotten any more sensitive though. Still waiting for that part to begin.
Smile, everyone will wonder what you are up to.

Bring on the aching nipples  I'll probably like it  >:-)

My fingers are crossed for you hon.  It's been a fun ride so far with all of the new self discovery.  But definately be prepared because your emotions are definately going to have you on a roller coaster ride.  The aching hasn't been too bad, however I have found out recently it's getting harder to do my job.  I can't lie down on top of an aircraft console comfortably anymore.  Though still small the girls do like to get in the way.   :)
