It's started to get quite warm around here recently and I've noticed that my binder gets absolutely soaked in sweat. I only have one binder as I can't afford another one.
No matter how much antipersperant deodrant I cover myself in, it doesn't seem to help and I tend to smell quite bad by the end of the day. Then I have to try and shower and get my binder washed and ready for the next day!

Any ideas on how to help ease it up a bit?

Thanks

Few things say 'guy' like not being afraid to smell like work.

I sweat a lot too. The only thing that works for me is clinical strength antiperspirant. It costs more but trust me the results are worth it.

Have you tried wearing a tank top under your binder? I wear one to keep the fabric from making me itch and prevent chaffing. I've noticed the tank top absorbs the sweat first so the binder stays drier. At first I though I would get too hot wearing a tank top-binder-shirt, but it's been O.K. I'm in heat in the 90's too, but I'm not outside all day. The binder somehow has a cooling effect to it.

tekla: Generally, I don't mind too much, but it soaks into the binder and it gets really bad. Like to the point where you can smell yourself. Haha.

I might have to invest in some tanktops then. Wearing another layer is absolutely going to kill me though. I also have a tough time finding them small enough.

I have resorted to changing my shirt a few times each day as well as reapplying deodorant again and again. Not the best option but works. I have to layer at this point and have to change the under and over shirt.

put baby powder (good) or gold bond (best) on your skin underneath your binder.  helps with chafing, too.

Yeah. Most of the time I'm not in the situation where I can magically whip out another shirt.

Baby powder sounds good, but what's gold bond?

Gold Bond is a medicated body powder with menthol and zinc oxide that makes you feel pleasantly cool and tingly.
