The ability to dream. It's something that's rare in society, a willing departure in the mind away from reality. Hope, staring at seemingly impossible odds and willing to overcome it.
The deep-sated ability to dream of doing something more than just being is what makes many transsexuals special. Doesn't make them much different from any wide-eyed 8 year old cradling a book as big as her head and knowing what she reads in it will never come to be.
But yes, it is special among humans, and it's one thing that all transsexuals have by default of being transsexual. The same could not be said of the general populace.
This thread is still stupid.
And I pretty much am disgusted by most transsexuals I know. So many of them dream too much, an old hag eluding herself to dreams that she's a young princess. It's not my place to disillusion any of them, but I do find it frustrating that while I'm getting on with my life in the real world in the middle of transition, all these people are doing it comfortably in retirement, well settled into their roles while the younger ones like me are struggling for rent, education, love, and transition, as well as all the other BS drama of youth.
Kay, I'm done with my stupid whining in this stupid thread.
