Gina, I've always been impressed with girls who understand how important self-improvement is. Women are imperfect beings who, with lots of practice and focus, can often repair many of the defects that afflict them.

For instance, you would think that Miss Connecticut USA, our representative in last month's Miss USA Pageant, is about as defect-free as any girl can be. Monica Pietrzak, who lives in Manchester, is so cool that she was runner-up in the Miss Massachusetts USA Pageant a few years ago.
