I have often bemoaned the fact, both from a trans point of view and from a journalist's point of view, that there is no one-stop, multi-faceted national organization in Canada watching out for and speaking out on behalf of all transgender people. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a one-stop number to call where Canadian trans people could get all the direction they need, and where a journalist could get a fast, official quote in reaction to a breaking news story involving trans people.
