I think that's something that appened at almost every FTM at least once in life. ^_^;;
Have you ever been mistake for a young boy even if you are in your late teen, 20' or 30'? What is your funniest episode about it?

I think I'm becoming used to this, even if sometimes it's annoying when people don't believe me when I say that I'm 25 and I have a degree.

The funniest episode appened me some months ago. It was about 10 pm and I was around with a dog, because I have a small work as a dog sitter. I met an old lady who knew the dog which I was with, and she started to make me a lot of questions. She asked me why I was around alone at that hour, who I was, if my parent knew. She didn't believe when I told her I'm 25, she was going to call the police or an organizzation for the protection of children. At the end I had to tell her for stop this, because she didn't belive me in any way: "Mrs, I'm a girl!". She rested something like this  :o  I'm really curious to know what did she said after to the dog's owner... x-D

So, what are your funny episodes about this?

i pmsl  :D i suppose it didn't help that i was buying a crappy kite from the gift shop.

Yep, when I'd only been on T for a short while and still looked pretty young, I stopped at the store on the way to work, wearing my suit. The guy behind the counter, who was probably my age (around 45) said in a patronizing voice "well, you're all dressed up. Big interview?" I said no, I'm on my way to court. Then I realized he probably thought I was the defendant, not the lawyer.

Lol people always think I'm a little boy. I was at the bank a couple weeks ago depositing a check and was getting cash back, and when I asked for the cash she was like "I can only give the cash to Jenifer" and I was like yeah.. I'm right here. And she was like oh sorry! you just look... young. Another time at the bank the woman asked me if I was depositing a check for my mother lol. I've also had people refuse to sell me cigarettes even after I show them my ID because they think I'm a little boy using his sister's ID or something haha

I've never been mistaken for a boy, but people do always seem to think I'm younger than I am.  A colleague recently asked me if I was old enough to drink.  I'm 34.  ::)  I said, "Not only am I old enough to drink, I'm old enough to be flattered that you think I'm not."  :D

I, too got carded for a lottery ticket when I was 21.  I was so surprised that I answered, "I'm 18.  No, actually I'm 21."  She looked at me very suspiciously.

People usually think that I'm a boy... Very young boy!  ;D
I'm almost 23, but most of the people say that I look like I'm 13-14.

Sometimes it's really funny, but sometimes I hate that. It depends from my mood, I guess...

I also had a lot of funny episodes... Too much...  ;)

i seemed to have aged 3 years in the past 3 months, but when i was pre T i looked about 14 or so.  i never tried to buy cigarettes then, but i can imagin it would have been pretty funny. :P

i had a couple of weird looks while in the sex shop though. >_>

For me, getting carded is a matter of 8's. First time i  was 18, next 28, then 38, etc. Wondering about that 58 mark and if that will hold true.

This doesn't really have anything to do with gender, but I've always looked younger than I am. A few years ago I was standing around with a bunch of people after a famous author had come to lecture. I said to one person there something about, "Remember that course you taught that I took X years ago?" And one of the gals standing there said to me, "I have trouble believing that you were ANYwhere X years ago..."

My students thought I was in my late twenties. I was forty-four.

Well, it's all going down the tubes now, but I wonder how people will read me now that I'm transitioning. Maybe I'll start all over again looking young and not look my age till I'm sixty.   After all, I did get carded the other day when I went to buy some booze...and was mortified when I had to show them an ID with a big F on it. Yikes. Well, that should change soon.

Yup, sounds familiar.
I'm 30 years old, but people routinely think I'm 16 to 20. Most of the time I don't mind, sometimes it irritates me. I hate the fact that when I have to tell them my real age, I'm instantly outing myself though.
Ah, to be perceived as a 30 year old male, that would be something!

Im 29, most ppl think I am a 15 yr old boy. heaps of embrassing moments, the most embrassing was last year me and five of my mates (all around the same age) decided to fly up north for two weeks. We boarded the plane together and the stewardist stopped me and said "Love, would you like some pencils and coloring kit or would you prefer some playing cards" My mates never let that one rest!!!

I'm 16, mistaken for an elementary school kid once, usually seen as 13-14.

lol I get that aaaaaaall the time probably doesn't help that i'm only like 5'...maybe 5'1" but I usually come off as an 11-15 year old boy have since i was about 14. I'm 20 now though lol I don't usually mind cause hey I figure at this rate I'll look real smexy when I'm 60 xD haha I definitely get it a lot from the older folks I think it's cute and just go with it haha I'm not about to tell them I'm 20 lol that'd be awkward buuut I think one of the more recent "situations" was I was hanging out with this chick and her sister didn't believe me that I was over 18 and wanted to see my ID and kept referring to me as a "juvenile" lol eh I can't really complain though people are nicer to me when they think I'm a super young boy.
