SF started out with a very large Italian and Irish population, and first they get drunk, and then they start criminal syndicates.  So the Bay Area has a pretty big Mafia/Cosa Nostra/Mob presence in some of the traditional areas.  Waste management, vending machines, gambling, prostitution and drugs.  So yeah, we got our Vinnies and Guidos and a Kevin or two you don't want to mess with either.

But what we also had, and never noticed till it was generations and generations too late, was a huge influx of Chinese persons, and they brought the Triad/Tong system with them, and that level of criminal organization makes the Italian/Irish/Jewish gang deal look like low-level amateurs.

in with my Daddy when he opened up a truck shop.

The triad/tong deal is very, very internal.  Its like a private war in a private world, unlike the American example, it rarely spills outside of its confines.  But, due to the longevity (some are over 400 years old), the family structure, and the fact that often organized crime activities are but a part, a division of the larger company if you will, the money is huge.

I have never tried any hand gun, but I was skillful in M16 rifle and M60 machine gun when I was in the army. M60 was indeed heavy, and I was skeptical that even Rambo could carry it in just one hand. M16 is very accurate to aim, but too long to carry, and nowadays soliders in this country use modified versions of M16 (shorter and lighter). Rifles are safer than handguns with respect to firearm accident.

Oops... I am not any kind of expert on firearm  , but can be a candidate on fashion  I don't like guns, but do like barbie dolls.

Oh yes -- I have a 1911 automatic and a snub-nosed 38 revolver, but they're both blank-firing solid-barrel theatrical props. They'd blow my hand off if I was stupid enough to load them with real ammo.

During peace time, full-auto is sometimes allowed for wasting aged bullets. I have never tried auto.

I always aimed and shot one by one, from 50 m to 250 m. During each exam, 20 bullets were given, and at least 18 should hit the mark to pass. The mark was a moving target, standing up for 3 to 5 seconds and disappearing. We ran and lay flat on the ground when seeing the moving target, then shot within 5 seconds. Breathing control was critical. It was enjoyful, but we had to run to the peak of a mountain when failing to pass.

Daylight shooting was fine, but nighttime shooting was a real problem. I could not see the target at all.

Bullet of M60 was indeed awesome. The roar and power of each bullet is nearly equivalent to that of a hand grenade. It was always full-auto. During the practice, I fired several hundred bullets within just 1 minutes. If you hear the sound while creeping, you probably can not raise your head. The sound alone was so aweful. However, the killing power of M60 probably is less than that of M16 whose barrel rifling has 6 grooves (Ak, M60 and others have 4 gooves).

I take it, and I could see no other way really, that military training in SK is mandatory?  What with Kim El Nutbar like what, 20 miles north of the capitol city? 

Never got as high as a .60, a .50 is as big as I've ever shot, and that would stop a semi.

Yes. It is mandatory for men.

North Korean nuke and missile are for attacking Japan or other countries, except S. Korea. North Korean conventional ground units can fire up to 500,000 artillery rounds per hour to the capital area of South Korea. That means that N. Korea can kill > 1 millon within 3 days without using any nuke or chemical weapon. Most of N. Korean artillery units are mobile utilizing railroads and tunnels, making it very difficult to counterattack even using GPS.
