In a bipartisan gesture on LGBT rights, out lesbian Representative Tammy Baldwin, a Wisconsin Democrat, has been joined by Florida Republican Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Senator Joe Lieberman, an Independent Democrat from Connecticut, and Maine Republican Susan Collins in introducing the Domestic Partnership Benefits and Obligations Act.
