Your fashion is terrible

Yesterday I hurried up in the morning not to care my clothes. I wore a green athletic bikini under thin long tee. At my workplace, some people could see my bikini through the brown tee. One woman touched the strap in my back, joking "are you going to a hotel pool?". I replied that your touch is a sexual harassment to me. Another male colleague said my chest is too flat and I would be better wearing formed bras. Another guy recommended me to wear bright tees. I also think I should enhance my fashion sense. I may look better with short pants, but even few women do wear short pants at my workplace. I wear short pants there only when I exercise. Although some people imply my wearing skirts, I guess it would be too shocking at my workplace. Although I look better with skirts or one-piece dresses, I may have better try short pants first, but usually I have no choice but to wear capris at my workplace. Sigh...

The long torso/short leg thing is a common trait to east Asian folks.  It's also, partly at least, an optical illusion due to the relatively modest curves - in particular a shallower lower back lordosis making the bum look flatter than it might do on caucasoid or negroid phenotypes.  This makes the torso appear a bit longer and the legs a little shorter - if you measure them, you should see very little, if any, difference from ankle to hip/hip to shoulder.

Skirts may seem to look better because they emphasize the waistline marker that helps make the leg/torso ratio look more proportionate.  I guess your choice of fashion depends how feminine a shape you want to have.

I do not know well about the length ratios of my body. For curiosity, I just picked one of my photos to compare lengths from ankle to hip/hip to shoulder.

Ah good pic - it clearly shows that your leg length is longer, not shorter, than your torso! You have proof that the long torso/short leg is an optical illusion

I know I said there shouldn't be much difference but in your case, there's a noticeable difference in leg length - I'm guessing you're quite tall?

Cute and tall...no wonder you turn heads when you're out exercising. Good for you!

Wow, I'm sorry that you got that kind of treatment. You're right -- that's sexual harassment, and I don't think it's appropriate for anyone to comment on what you are wearing in the workplace, except perhaps your boss if your clothing is in violation of the dress code. In fact, if this continues, you might consider talking to your boss about it so that it stops.

As for wearing a skirt at work -- well, I'm not sure that a skirt is any more feminine than capri pants; at least around here it's not.

Whatever the numerical values of your proportions, you look beautiful.

I guess the main reason of my terrible fasion was the capris, which I purchsed here last year and is size 2 and too tight, small for my height (6 feet), deemphasizing my lower body. In my country, the average ratio of upper to lower body length is nearly equal for older generations including my age, but nowadays young people here have been well fed and tend to have longer legs. An example is a young female figure skater who took advantage of her long legs during the recent world figure skating competition. Her legs looked longest among the players around the world:

However, I was always hungry when I was kids 

When I was in the U.S., I could see some white and black women with slim and long legs. For white women, they were mostly teenagers or at early 20's. However, the legs I could admire and love were those of hosiery models, especially of Calvin Klein. I felt some similarity between my legs and those models, and liked to compare:

It was a joke, but strictly speaking, it could be a sexual harassment. But, she defended that a woman touching another woman is not sexual harassment. Another guy beside her asked me what if he touches me. I replied it is a sexual harassment, too.

I have noticed that women increasingly tend to touch me without hesitation since my crossdressing. Even strangers grasp my arms here to ask the way. Even in the U.S., I felt that the average physical distance between women and me was dramatically shortened, their shoulders easily touched mine in shopping centers and other places. It's good for me

Ah, I see -- it's always a little harder to read sarcasm or joking on the Internet. What you describe is such a huge part of the benefit of transitioning, being able to be included in groups of women in that warm way, rather than having that barrier that has always been there before.

I don't think you have much to worry about Barbie. You always appear very well groomed and look good. You have a fantastic figure and your clothes tend to show this off to good effect.

I think you are really striking and because of this will probably always draw attention including negative comments. Don't get disheartened by the comments.

Thanks, Nicky. I know that I attract eyes of people here whether I look pretty or queer. A main factor is my unusual height as a woman here. They comment like "even taller than men".

Yesterday I just wore a 2-inch high heel sandals at night. My female colleague, who first saw my wearing heels, exclaimed like "your figure from behind is so gorgeous and a lot of men will chase you". I replied how about my figure in the front?" 

Of course, there is some benefit. I rode on a cab (taxi) to go home later at night. As I am so forgetable , I left my wallet there, and did not notice it even at home. I got a call from the guard office of my apartment. The driver came back to my apartment to return my wallet. He was extraordinarily kind compared with other hasy drivers here. He waited there to see me again, and probably recognized me as a man

Today I wear a black one-piece dress which is here sometimes called "Peter Pan dress". A lot of people at my workplace watched me, and surprisingly with no negative comment. I do think it is so pretty, but most colleagues commented that my fashion is very nice. Unfortunately, I did not dare to wear red lipstick, which is a must with black clothes, and without high heel sandals. Anyway, I am satisfied with today's my fashion.

It's more than 2 months ago that I had my hair cut. Still, people who first meet me after my hair change ask why I had my hair cut. Even a female clerk at the bank noticed my hair change, although I stop there 2 or 3 times a year. She said long hair is my trademark, and it is a little bit regrettable that I lost so long hair. Today 2 people asked about my hair change, and I am now rather tired of answering in detail

Frankly I was a little bit disappointed at those pictures. In those pictures, the black one-piece is not so much pretty as I thought or expected. I thought I looked very slim in a mirror, but I look stoutish in the pictures.

Today it was suddenly hot, and I wore sky color short pants. Even most women did not wear short pants at my workplace, although some of them do wear various skirts. Probably no man ever dared to wear short pants here on duty, although I and other men do wear athletic short pants during lunch time for playing soccer or jogging. Some young women stuided my legs

Yes. I was right.

Today one colleague here commented that my black one-piece does not match with me. He said it is like maternal wear  I also thought that.

We chatted about a young woman here who is now pregnant for her second baby. He said I may look like her 

This week, it was a total failure. Next week, I will try again with new items.

Usually my wife does not comment on my clothes (she washes my bras, stockings and thongs for me). But today afternoon when I returned home, she also mentioned the black one-piece, saying that she does not like my wearing it  I replied that I already got enough negative comments at my workplace.

I will purchase a belt that can emphasize my waist line, or never wear it again.
