It's been awhile since I've posted here everyone. I wanted to say that things have actually been going fairly well for me lately. I'm gainfully employed and catching up on my finances, I'm making plans for the future, and best of all, my mother and I have been finally communicating and understanding each other much better about my ->-bleeped-<-. I'm making plans to join a therapy group and possibly seek one-on-one counseling as I prepare to get my transition back on track.
Now that I'm speaking with my mother about this issue more openly, I have a question: do you all have any recommendations for good reading material on ->-bleeped-<- and transsexuality?
Specifically, my mother wants some literature on the subject so she knows more about it and we can discuss this more at length. Wat I'd like is something authoritative, yet doesn't read like a bloody textbook. Something that we can go over together and I can explain and clarify things piece by piece with her as we do so.
Any recommendations would be VERY helpful for this. Thanks again, everyone!
