What's the beef with bisexuals?

Bisexuals may appreciate both genders, but there are many people, male and female, that have misperceptions about what it means to be bisexual. As a result, bisexuals often find their sexual identity questioned by men and women.

Many in the heterosexual community mistakenly assume that bisexuality denotes an increased likelihood of infidelity or risky sexual behavior.   I am not aware of any studies proving either suspicion. Infidelity and promiscuity are individual choices. These behaviors are exhibited by both genders and occur throughout the sexual spectrum. If scientists decided to test control groups to establish increased propensity for these behaviors, I would expect men to be the group showing the strongest innate proclivity for both.

Actually, surveys done in the NL suggest that more women cheat than men. Cheating men are known to cheat more often than cheating women, though.

Watched a discovery channel special about how women, when close to ovulation, are way more likely to cheat than other times. They had women at different points of their cycles rating their attraction towards different men, including feminized or masculinized photos of the same guys. As they neared ovulation, they found the more 'manly' ones attractive, even if they were more attracted to the 'pretty' ones at other times.

From personal experience, women cheat all the time. People are flawed.

But yes, there are people out there who discriminate harshly against bi people. Guys who are 'bi' are gay and women who are 'bi' are attention whores, ask anybody!

I've personally watched women use "I'm bisexual" as a way to spark the idea in a man that there's a chance of a threesome with another girl, somewhere down the line.
That is to say, making themselves seem a little "more" for the sake of "getting" men.

Which would explain a lot...
