You make that sound like a bad thing.  ;D

But, yes, good dark chocolate is hard to beat.

And if you're eating something that's sugary, including bread of any kind: bagels, pasta, etc you should have fat and protein intake along with it. Those retard the the swiftness of glucose uptake and that makes for better and more even blood sugar levels. Slower is better in that regard.

Fat is not bad for you, for most of human history we ate mostly a diet of fat, protein and the carbs (sugars) we got were for the most part slow release sugars that came by way of fruit and vegetables which are carbs for the most part.

The overwhelmingly swift uptake and glucose barrage our bodies get these days is almost totally associated with grains and potatoes, etc: easily digested carb-factories that give you a tremendous rush of glucose and the consequent over-production of insulin.

Obese people are those who consistently overload themselves with glucose and insulin. They also tend toward diabetes moreso than those who attain their carbs through vegetables and fruits and also tend toward worse teeth and more acute chances of cardiac problems.

Chocolate is not a problem within itself. Neither is the fat to be digested from the chocolate. The sugar is a huge problem.

that's such good news because I'm such a chocoholic! Slowly savoring a piece of one of those Lindt's 85% cocoa chocolate bars while watching James Spader make a closing court case argument on Boston Legal can literally bring a girl to orgasm ;)

I have actually hear of that before.  Using the chocolate as a reward seems to work.  But I don't want to lose weight.  I need to gain it, but only in certain areas.  Hips, butt and boobs.

And I love chocolate, especially dark chocolate.

I've heard that what you eat is pretty irrelevant when it comes to pimples.

But really the best way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more. Pretty simple really (but sometimes bloody hard to do). There are no quick fixes.

The french have just invented a new chocolate treat which is essentially chocolate flavoured air. You get it in packets of one hit capsules. Supposed to contain super fine chocolate dust which leaves a lasting strong taste of chocolate in your mouth. I'm not sure how good it would be for your lungs though  :-\
