Well ever since I've been taking summer classes and living on campus, I can't really oversleep even if I want to. Last night, I went to bed at 2:30 in the morning and woke up around 8:30. I always leave my blinds open and the sunlight just pores in. It feels great waking up every day and I never feel tired once I'm up.

Ah, if only I could stay at college forever.

Well the sun wakes me at 5:30 AM but the dark puts me to sleep at 8:30 PM

you might not want to come to Iceland right about now then...

the sun hasn't "gone down" for about a month or two... and won't again 'til... late august ish...

So, do you guys lose any sleep during this time of the year?

I can't imagine having 24 hour sunlight, it sounds awesome.

6 months of night sounds better still.

Oh it's rough on people who aren't used to it, and the winter is horrid on people with SAD (which is thankfully rare around here).

I don't loose any sleep from it. I've lived here most of my life and so it doesn't bother me.

I love the winter up here Tekla, for that reason alone... On the darkest days it doesn't even get to the point where you can say that there's "daylight" out there, and the snow combined with that means the whole world looks painted in hues of royal blue.. it's really quite stunning.

I was at Thule for a few weeks, far north of you I think, all that sunlight was oppressive.

I do prefer the dark... which would explain why I'm indoors... on the computer.. ;)

My little daughter always wakes me up at 9:30 AM every weekend. What I need most is not fashion, but just enough sleep! (at least on Sunday)

Barbie~~
Just do it.

Hahaha, the sun doesn't wake me up at all but my internal alarm clock does. I have always gotten up before my alarm clock which is kinda weird. The dark doesn't do much for me but keeps me more awake.

I can normally sleep anytime and almost anywhere. Love sunlight but 12 hours is plenty and 14 is too much. I would go further insane in the great white north.
