What by the way is FARK? a collection of
Reminds me. In the Ash Wednesday bush fires (20 odd yrs ago); a school of kindy students were under threat, the fire fighters couldn't get to the town. Two surfies had come in from the coast to escape the blaze and had ended up trapped in this community, no way out. They had four plastic buckets. One ladder. They emptied an 80,000 liter swimming pool over the roof of the school room where the kids and teachers sheltered. Bush fires are about 500-1000C with screaming wind, people say the sound is deafening like a train coming at you. The school wasn't burned. All of the kids and teachers were OK. The rest of the town was gone. They walked away without even leaving their names.
