I found this website where you can compare yourself with celebs, height and shoe sizes

http://sizematcher.com/

I had no idea Bette Midler was 5' 11", she seems so short! :)

I am the same size as Tyra Banks and Claudia Schiffer  ;D

I'm 5'11" also.  Last spring my psych professor had all the girls in class come to the front of the room, and he used a coin to divide us into two groups.  In each group we had to line up in order of height.  I was the third tallest in my group, which would make me about the fifth tallest girl in class.

The thing I hate about wearing size 12 shoes is that most stores stop at size 11.  Only a few carry 12s, and they're all either black or they're bedroom shoes.

In Quebec, at 5 11, there's no way you'd be 5th tallest, I've never seen in real life a girl taller than me: 6 foot.

You need to move to Minnesota, land of scandinavian giants.

You're lucky if most stores have up to size 11, here only Target has all ladies shoes up to 11, otherwise they mostly stop at 10.

Australia has a lot of tall girls too. I work with a girl who is the same hight as me and luckily she also likes wearing heels.

Are you one of those Scandinavian giants Lisbeth?

I am 1/2 Danish on my mother's side.  That's why I have blond hair and blue eyes.  ;D

That's nice, I am also Scandinavian... a bit further north though :)  Lived in Oslo from 1980 until I came to Australia in 2003.

Many people think that Norwegians are tall people, but I have seen more tall females in the 4 years I have been here than in my entire life in Norway.

Oprah Winfrey is a size 10.5 ???

Paris Hilton wears a size 11 shoe. I'm 5'5 and wear a size 9. Some women (or female bodied persons) just have large feet.
Nero was the Forum Admin here at Susan's Place for several years up to the time of his death.

I'm 5"8' my shoe size is 9 and a bit... I fit size nine, but after hours and hours they start to feel crampy and hurt. I have a hard time finding good  9.5 shoes. So I end up with size 10's, which are a bit big, but roomy... I just have to wear socks with those shoes.

Recently, however, I just tried on one of my size nine shoes and it seemed to fit better this time, my size 10 shoes are driving me mad because my feet move all around in them and my socks get holes from that, like in the ankles. And I keep wanting 9.5 but when I do find them there is never a good style in them. Or, they use Euro styles, so I've got to try on 40's and 41's, and figure out if I like them or not. Different shoe places fit differently, too. I always have to try the shoes on.

I'm 6' and my shoe size varies a lot depending on what I'm wearing.  My shoe size varies from a 9 to 10.5 depending on what type of shoe and if I need some extra foot room or something.

I'm a women's size 7.5, 8 or 8.5 depending on who makes the shoe but most of mine are size 8. Size doesnt really matter if they are pretty and your nails are nice. I swear I saw one of the tallest women the other day in the office. I'm 5'8" and the top of my head came up to her shoulders. She had on sandals with a 1-1/2" heel and I bet they were a size 10 at least, but I would have never thought or guessed she was male judging by the size. She was all woman and had pretty feet even though they were big.

Im 5ft 11in'ish and wear a size 11 shoe...  Neither of those seems to be in issue passing wise  :)

I know a girl thats 6ft 4 and has to wear mens shoes or order from CD sites if she wants something prettyer, and A waitress whos 6ft tall and wears a 12 and has larger hands than I do LoL...

Unfortunatly where I live, finding shoes and clothes is a total pain...  Everyone is short and or fat which means most stores dont bother carrying anything in my size/height range...  Most shoe stores only go up to size 9 in a full range, and carry 10s in a limited range and if your really really lucky a few pairs of 11s... usualy too ugly to wear...

Clothing wise... if your tall and skinny you better learn to like skirts and dresses cuz Jeans and pants are a virtual imposability to find...  and long sleeved tops are just out of the question...  <Why I love shopping in colorado or other states with large populations of tall skinny people :)  >

I'll match your size 11, and raise you to 6'2". And still.. it's not an issue ;)

It depends on your inseam. My worker is about an inch shorter than me, and she gave me some pants which are too short on her... but on me they're perfect. Being a tall and leggy supermodel is apparently not a career option for me ;)

Victoria's Secret and The Gap have a ton of nice pants in 34" - 36" lengths.

Quoteand long sleeved tops are just out of the question...

It's weird, but I had more sleeve problems with GUY clothes. Most of my sweaters and tops fit OK.

Maybe my limbs are just freaky short, lol...

35.5 inch inseam, 71.5 inch tall, good proportions for a woman my height.
Shopping in tall sizes is usually enough.

I wear size 9 shoes though which for someone 6 foot is small.

Tall Clothing

If anyone is interested, here are a couple good sites for Tall Girl Clothing.
I have used Tall girl for years and Long tall Sally used to be a real pain for USA customers because they are in the UK but now they opened up a warehouse on the east cost and they also purchased Tall Girl in Canada. I have more sites if anyone wants them.
