yeah, i am leaning more toward the back of the shoulder now too... it just feels right for it to go there.

But, i've got more planning to do first anyways, like still finding the best tattooist in my area as no way am i getting someone crap to do it... i want quality, i want it to look mint. Then i gotta wait for my folks to fix the shower cos i been reading up and i been told not to soak it in water 2-3 wks after having it done, a shower is best and also gotta save.

Meanwhile, my next appt with the endo i can at least start mentioning top surgery and i'm sure if i can show how much i need it, he might let me move forward with it, providing i'm on hormones by then that is.

I've seen a lot of guys with larger tats on their calves and always thought that looked kinda hot. At least it's a place you could show it off anytime you liked or hide it with long pants if you wanted. Of course the traditional upper arm (bicep) area might be nice too.

I don't know that particular game but have always had a love affair with all the Final Fantasy games. And those characters are COOL looking! Besides, the tat you picked looks good even if someone doesn't recognize where it came from. I've seen far worse ones, let me tell ya.  ;)

OK first off, FF7 is awesome, in fact I've been playing it right now on an emulator :)

but jonjon, the tat does seem a little too obvious. personally if I got a tat remembering FF7, I'd get one of Red XIII's tats. like the ones on his arm and leg. it's a lot more subtle too.

Your pic is pretty sweet tho so if you're dead set on it and you love it then get it

I just got to the end of Crisis core but got stuck on the Genesis fight. I passed up about 250 of the missions and I was weak by the end of the game. I restarted the game and I'm going back and doing all of the 300 missions

Anyway...sorry..it's just not common to see a Crisis Core fan since the game is a year old and by now almost everyone's beaten it and forgotten it

I didn't read all of the posts in this topic but I know it's about jonjon wanting to get that Crisis Core tatoo. If you wanna do it then go for it. I wanted to get a tatoo of a video game symbol too but I don't think any tatoo parlor will do it. I wanted a picture of Shinnok's amulet tatoo'd somewhere on my body. I'm a super fan of Shinnok and Quan Chi

The ink is somewhat toxic and too much at once will make you very ill.

Where do you get your information? Because whatever source it is, it's bogus.

Ok, I have to say before anything else that the guy on the right looks just like Sora (from Kingdom Hearts). When I first saw it I was thinking "OMG, Sora in different clothes!", and then I recognized Sephiroth on the left. I have two FF games (X & XII), but I don't understand what it's about, since I HATE the battle systems so much I can't play it long enough to get anywhere.  >:(

That said, I think that you should get the tat on the back of your leg (as an incentive to wear shorts more, if nothing else  :P ) or on your neck. I think it would look very good on your neck, but it would have to be pretty small. And it would probably hurt more to get it.

I was going to say that if you got it on your neck, you'd have to worry about covering it up for jobs in the future.  But it looks like you've decided on your back, which isn't a problem.

You never know.  If you find an artist that's really good and open-minded, you might feel comfortable enough with them to go ahead and get the tattoo on your back if you can swing not having the binder on for a few days.  My boyfriend (also an FtM) just had the artist step out while they got ready before he got the front of his shoulder done.  He never saw anything and the guy was cool enough that it really didn't matter.  Of course, this also depends on your comfort level.  My boyfriend isn't too shy since he's been on T...  It really seems to be a confidence booster.

No, I was just commenting on what struck me about what you wrote, and the thought that sooner or later, if you live long enough, you'll regret just about everything at some point.

Wow, Tekla, that's dark and pretty pessimistic.  I hope I don't grow to regret just about everything.  And I guess if I'm going to regret everything anyway, why not do it if I'm going to enjoy it for a reasonably long period of time and no one gets hurt?

You going to wonder about the roads no taken, and the ones you took.  You'll work real hard for things, that once you get there, you're going to ask why you worked that hard, because it's not what you wanted, expected, or needed.

You're going to trust people you shouldn't, and not trust people you should have.
You're going to believe people you shouldn't have, and not listen to people you should have.
You're going to fall in love with the wrong person, pass by a few that may have been right.
Your going to do things you shouldn't have, and not do things you should have.
Your going to ignore some really major things, and pay way too much attention to things that will never matter.

But the hope is, that as long as it's you, you can learn from that and change it.

Believe me, its much, much worse than pessimism to blame others, society, fate, culture and all the rest, cause you can't do anything to change that stuff, so it just repeats endless, and powerlessly.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...
