Here in the Northeast, it has been raining just about every day and every night. It's very depressing. Sometimes, like today, it seems the sun wants to come out and shine down on us, and does for a little bit, but then the clouds come back and it rains again. Sometimes, we have sun showers, where there's
a few clouds and mostly sun, but it's STILL sprinkling.
Earlier this week, my mom was on the way home from work and she was stuck at a gas station that was on high ground for about two hours, because the surrounding roads were flooded up to people's car doors. A lot of cars got stuck and couldn't move because the people tried to keep driving, and flooded their engines. Last week, I was out running errands, filling out job applications, and it seemed like I was driving through a hurricane at one point.

I imagine right now that the ground is really saturated, which means there's a constant danger of flash floods, like what happened to my mom. I just wish it would stop, I mean, it
is summer...right?
