What's the weather like in your area?

Here in the Northeast, it has been raining just about every day and every night.  It's very depressing.  Sometimes, like today, it seems the sun wants to come out and shine down on us, and does for a little bit, but then the clouds come back and it rains again.  Sometimes, we have sun showers, where there's a few clouds and mostly sun, but it's STILL sprinkling.

Earlier this week, my mom was on the way home from work and she was stuck at a gas station that was on high ground for about two hours, because the surrounding roads were flooded up to people's car doors.  A lot of cars got stuck and couldn't move because the people tried to keep driving, and flooded their engines.  Last week, I was out running errands, filling out job applications, and it seemed like I was driving through a hurricane at one point. 

I imagine right now that the ground is really saturated, which means there's a constant danger of flash floods, like what happened to my mom.  I just wish it would stop, I mean, it is summer...right?

Pretty much it does not rain here from Mid April to Mid October, more or less.  No humidity in the summer either.

We rarely get snow and then it is only one inch.

The summer pattern is in the 90's fairly dry down in the 60's at night with rain every few weeks just a passing thunder storm.

On St. Croix in the Virgin Islands it was sunny and 88F with a nice 10-15 mph trade wind. I watched the full moon rise over Goat Hill. We need some rain, my cistern is so low.

Technically North east US,
its been cooler here this last week (60F-70F) plenty of sun though, it should be much warmer for this time of year, But I like cold weather so its perfect the way it is.

We only have to seasons, very hot and very hot and humid.

Its 7am in the morning and 38 C already (100 F) and it will get to 46 C (115 F) by mid afternoon.

Last night I played Softball at 9pm it was 90% Humidity and 105 F

Sunny So Cal:
Probably in the high 70s yesterday, pretty much no humidity (or what Tekla said).  Nice in the evenings, maybe down in the 60s.  Not too cold to be outside if you have a sweater on!

We won't start getting up to the 90s until August.

Rainy, humid, rather chilly at night in southern coast of S. Korea. It's like monsoon. Weather forecast says it will be very hot in a week.

A few days ago, we had a record high heavy rain. Precipitation was 360 mm (more than one feet) within several hours. Traffic jams over all of the city. Some small cars were abandoned in flooded roads. Usually it takes about 30 minutes to commute, but some of my colleagues said it took 4 hours.

But, I love heavy rain in summer.

I'm in the northeast too, Massachusetts, and I'm getting pissed off at all the rain. It has been raining pretty much non stop since the end of April. So ridiculous.

In Adelaide South Australia, it rained yesterday. Nothing today. Got up to 16C during the day and about 10C at night. It's just about sunset and cloudy. If (and it's rare) we get torrential rain we get flooding in various parts of Adelaide. And of course no one ever does anything about except complain the next time. We also have a continual debate of trying to harvest the rain instead od letting it run out to sea. In summer we get no rain and our water supply is running out.

Same here.  I'm in NY and we're about to get hit with a huge thunder storm tonight.  Sooo annoying.
