If I was you, I'd gather a couple friends and split rent and utilities someplace. I'm in a little apartment now with a roomie, and my total costs per term are like 1/3 of what the on campus budget was. You might end up in a dump, I lived in a run down trailer park my freshman year, but you won't have to put up with what is clearly an unacceptable situation for you.

There's no chugging contests going on here.

How droll.  Rules made up for the most part by people who can't remember their sophomore year as an undergrad either.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

I had my meeting with the president today....and what I discovered makes the situation even worse than before.

-Freshmen are required to live on campus in dorms.
-Anyone living on a dorm is required to carry some kind of meal plan.
-The food service people do not make nutritional information for their meals readily accessible.

Can you see where this is going?

I've decided to join the food council, speak with the director of the cafeteria (again) and speak with a nutritionist. I was hoping the President could weigh in on the situation and maybe make a change or two, but apparently that's not what the office is intended for.
