There's a new bill being voted on in Massachusetts called HB1728. It is a bill focused on protecting equal rights for gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender people. One of the sections states that anyone can go into any public bathroom, and if someone attempts to prevent them, then that person will be fined and/or jailed. There is a huge problem with this, but it actually has nothing to do with the area of transgender or bi/homosexuality. The problem is that it protects other people with different motives from what a transgender or homosexual would have for going into men's bathrooms one day and women's bathroom another day.
