Sometimes, like tonight,  I get the urge to be ultra-feminine....to wear the flirty skirt and high heels....the perfume...let my hair down...light some candles....that sort of thing.  It comes, and it goes, but when it comes,  it's so strong, it's almost overwhelming...am I nuts, or is this "normal"?

I think this is perfectly normal. What I don't find normal is dressing in drab to go to work. :'(

But people are people, I know some of the girls are OK wearing fairly plain stuff, others want fancy. Personally I wear everything from skirts, dresses, shorts, pants. With heels, without heels, etc etc. Nice thing about being female is that I can wear whatever I want when I feel like it (within reason ).
I like different perfumes on different days with different outfits.

Ahh blessed normality

Yes, Cindy...you're close.

What I'm wondering about is the wave-like changes, from "normal" girly to super feminine....some days, tight jeans are ok, others, a skirt is really calling to me...something more feminine...it's hard to describe....which is why I'm asking about it...

drab? what does that mean? does it mean you have to wear dull clothes at work like a uniform?

As Nicky said as well, totally normal female behaviour. And is present in females in every culture I've heard about.

Saw a documentry a few years back on couples getting married, the bride was complaining so much about getting dolled up, the make up, the hair, the lingere, the dress. and "he" ,the groom, only had to put a suit on.

She was enjoying every second. Bitch

If you are feeling very feminine and are comfortable within yourself go and have a pedicure, facial, or massage. You'll feel awesome, but only if you are comfy with being out there. I don't know where you are in life (I don't mean that rudely).

Love

I can't afford those luxuries of a pedicure, facial, or massage but I'm sure that if I had the money I would enjoy them.

What does out there mean?

Sorry Girls

Drab is often used as being in the clothes of the none gender sex. So I identify as female but for very complicated reasons I have to work dressed as a male, in drab

Out there, was purely a comment about how you are going; are you out in life full time, part time, semi time etc. How comfortable are you in that place. Some full time girls may not want to go somewhere and some part time may find going somewhere outside their comfort zone.

No probs. May not be able to afford it. But you can dream of that spunk giving you a nice deep massage.
Whoops

I'm transsexual, so I'm full time and have been for a number of years. I wouldn't feel comfortable any other way but I understand some have more difficult situations with their employment if they started work as a male.

Spunk in the U.K means something else as is a bit rude but I understand the analogy.

Sorry, Spunk means a sexy guy in Oz.
I'm from UK so I apologise, forgotten that meaning not nice sorry.

The RLT isn't strict in Oz. I also have unique physical, emotional, life and other problems. I'm a bit of a test case.

Not good but that's life.
PM me if you want more detail,

The RLT isn't supposed to be strict, it is usually a preference for most TS's..

Dressed As A Boy

DRAB/DRAG - dressed as a boy/dressed as a girl most likely come from old theatrical conventions and stage directions, like in 12th Night where characters switch genders in the show.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Give half a chance I would live as frilly and as Fem as I could, but work demands jeans, tops and closed shoes.  Some of the girls were dresses, but the ones I have are not work appropriate.

At least the days of drab are behind me, now.  I don't even own anything that is male in any fashion.
