Well, not quite, just the dark hairs, which represented probably half of the hairs on my upper lip.

I went for my fifth full session (1 hour) yesterday.  She asked if she could finish my upper lip which I told her really bothered me.  "Of course!"  She has been working only on dark hairs.  The "goatee section" has the highest density.  She was really excited as she zapped the last of the dark hairs.  "This is going to look so nice!"  I love her enthusiasm.

After the session, as I was driving home, I looked in the rearview mirror wondering how much redness there was.  As soon as I did I saw a woman's face!  I was a bit stunned.  The light turned green and I had to go.  All the way home I wondered about that.

Today I checked it out.  My upper lip was pretty swollen this morning but already it's going down.  But even though I haven't shaved since Thursday evening, I can't see any dark hairs on my upper lip.  And those pesky hairs she zapped three weeks ago are still gone.

Five down and only 95 to go!  I'm not short yet but I'm working on it.
When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.

That's so great, Julie!   :icon_joy: the upper lip is the most painful area to treat, so once you are done with it, the rest is basically much easier to bear!

95 more to go, huh?  before you know it, you will be posting another thread "only five more hours left" :)

Yeah, I've had my electro concentrating on the lips area -- the moustache and the so-called 'soul patch' under the lower lip.  I figured to get the worst out of the way first.  And besides, thet's where people look.  Killing the 'blue' there would likely make my face appear more female faster.

It's down to where she clears that whole area in about 45 minutes of hold-your-breath pain, and then works on the baby hairs on the cheeks and stuff that can be killed in under 6 seconds, then we end the session by attacking some of the 'old growth' near the ears and on the jaw.  But it's a motivator to touch my lips and cheeks the day of electro and only feel a very few hairs and mostly smooth skin.

She's teaming up with the electro she trades with to offer me a deal -- two electros and an all-day Saturday session to try to complete a first clearing of all the old-growth areas that are left.  Painful? Yes!  But it would get me 16 hours closer to completion -- 2 months of electro compressed into a day.
