Help me..

For the last couple of months I've being going through hell.. Okay so basically I feel like ->-bleeped-<-.

I have being going to a normal day-to-day therapist for a few years now, yes.. THIS is how long It's taking.
(Time wasters mostly)

At first because I'd just turned 18 they told me I could go through childrens such-and-such blah blah.. Then uh-oh 2 months of waiting for a letter then two weeks waiting for an appointment.. ONLY to be hugely disapointed by being told that I don't qualify and have to be swapped to the adults services.
(Why the hell they didn't check before wasting my time god knows..)

Apparently they have put me down on the waiting list for London or somthing, Charring Cross I think the hospital was called.. *Shrug*
I never knew anything about this though.. I think they phoned my mother about it, shes only being giving me snippets of info, no idea why, shes such a .. Well You get the image..

She has NOTHING to do with this, she has no right to take my phone calls or with-hold information from me at this age im sure. But anyways..

Okay so It's being a few months now..

No reply. No letters, no phone call.
Weve phoned the office a few times now and still no answers, It's like they dont give a damn.

I'm so angry right now.. I'm so frustrated because no one is talking to me.. NO ONE IS TELLING ME WHAT IS HAPPENING.
I swear I'm being taken for a ride..

Please, Iv'e being messed around for so long now, I need help or somthing.. ANYTHING.

Happy bunnies and flowers?!  Where?! I want to go there! Well, I can't help you much there hun, but I do know at the age of 18, your parents have no right to withhold any information from you or get involved in your affairs. The fact that these people are going along with them seems wrong and illegal to me. I live in the USA so I can't really help on that front, but is there a way you can go elsewhere to help you out? I don't know how it goes down in the UK but what's going on with you totally sucks. I'm sorry. I think that would drive me mad as well.
Do you have anywhere else to look into? It all seems rather unprofessional.

Hi Ace,

I guess my question to you would be, Are you able to pay your own way as far as living and medical expenses are concerned? If so I would seriously consider finding another therapist that didn't have his/her thumb up the posterior. At your age, when results from HRT are extremely good I wouldn't want to wast my time either.

I'd suggest looking for another therapist that is still covered by your medical provider. Not sure how all that works in the UK though.

Hmm.

Yeah, Its a real complicated process down here in the UK, well if it isnt, they sure are trying there best to make it one.
I think they must just sit around there office all day playing poker or somthing.. Deffinatly not writing refferals up THATS for sure.
