Damn. This lunacy is as bad as those bills declaring fetal personhood. A Republican state legislator John Adams of Sidney, has submitted a bill that would require a woman to obtain the permission of the man who impregnated her before she could receive abortion services. The language of the bill is beyond insane.

You've gotta read this to even believe it!

I presume Mr. Adams is currently writing "Legally Declaring Women Chattel" legislation! Wonder if his wife has seen "the Burning Bed"?

I've said this time and time again. If men were the ones that got pregnant and had to carry a child for 9 months, abortion procedures would be safe, legal, accessible, and fully funded.

That's been said better:

"If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament"
Erica Jong or Rose Kennedy, or both

"contact republican john adams and let him know how you feel."
And please write your replies using only single syllable words, pictures, and perhaps some crayons might help.

And, not to be one of them there left wing elitists but...
While in California, Representative Adams married his high school sweetheart, Tara, and furthered his education by attending Mesa Community College in San Diego. He and his wife returned to western Ohio in 1987 after he was honorably discharged from the Navy SEALs.
Upon returning to Ohio, he attended Edison State Community College to continue his college education and began working at a local furniture business.

Um... They try to teach people at major colleges things like, well, umm, law.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

And what do they teach in 13th grade? :) Especially to those who seem never able to pass along to 14th grade!

I found it rather reveling that (and it's from his official bio) that they use the words like 'attending' and 'continuing', but never the word 'graduating'.  Hummm.

Will the law pass in Ohio?

Hopefully the proposal will never even get talked about in Ohio's legislative agenda committee. Just placed in the box for rotting in silence.

That is necessery not true. Pregnancy might be test of ''manhood'' and abortion totally forbidden. And goverment would use lot of funds to persecute all possible relating to abortion as our goverment still in 21st century persecutes conscientous objectors.

Some things evidently don't translate well from American to Finnish.

I'm sorry that they deny your ability to be a CO, luv, but isn't that all kinda water past the bridge now? Try to relax, DL.

Last time he tried this it never made it out of committee, and I doubt if it will this time either, he's just grandstanding.
