Yes. In anticipation of GRS, most surgeons will remove much tissue from inside the scrotum. You can optionally have the scrotum removed also. Though that is used as possible tissue for GRS. how long is the procedure,
About an hour.and is there much pain afterward?
Not really. There is some discomfort but not that much pain as I recall.
