The hardest part was hearing the stories of other transgenders that Bridget met on-line. They broke my heart.

I mentioned earlier my fears about my child's safety. We've all heard the stories of murdered transgenders. One of the first things Bridget stated was that she should always sit down in the ladies' room. She doesn't drink to excess, so I feel confident she won't make that mistake. I sincerely hope that the CSI and Law and Order series have run their course with transgender murder stories. Though I appreciate the awareness they are raising, I really hate watching them. But it's the other stories that aren't told...
