Yeah... they are definitely around. Apparently, I had too many implanted and my estro levels skyrocketed. I didn't take any additional estrogen for more than a year and a half before my estro levels returned to numbers resembling normal.

I can't get HRT shots the legal way in the U.K for love or money. The NHS blankly refused as it's not licenced here so it looks like I might have to buy on line and pay the customs tax.

they were hrt, precribed at St Saviors hospital around 8 years ago we only had a long discussion the other day over it when she was inquiring my injectible doses so yes they are around if you look.

I find that very hard to believe considering shots are not legal in the U.K but if there is an outlet for HRT shots in the U.K somewhere I'd like to know exactely where it is and how to access it?

You are fully aware we can't get shots over here in England through the NHS as it's not licenced and if they are bought or ordered overseas they are sometimes seized at customs and a heavy tax duty is required on top of the original purchase. They do not make it easy for us over here.

If you are also from the U.K tell me about a retail outlet to buy injectable HRT who's products won't get seized at customs?  The NHS are against injectable HRT and will not provide any support regarding this medication.

I';ve also looked up St Saviors hospital which is in Kent and I'm on the case to find out if they have any information.

I checked out St Saviors hospital in Kent which is a private hospital and they have no knowledge or experience of either TG patients or injectable HRT.

ok so i had my first shot 2 weeks ago and all i have to say is ouch lol.  i opted for the 1 month shot as for right now im splitting my time between vegas and la. so its kinda difficult to manage a time to set up to go in bi weekly.  anyways my dr. opted not 2 give me spiro first month, and i will get my prescription for that on the 28.... so really i was under the impression that with just E shot and no spiro I wasnt going to see much if any changes.

boy was i wrong.  my nipples are swollen now especially in the morning when waking up.  and there are hard bumps behind them, and its rather sore to touch around them too.

also my urine smells rather different lol

So im under the impression E alone is doing something, but still i cant wait to start spiro as im sure the effects would be more no?

Thanks for reading :)

I wish I could get them. Injectable HRT is not licesed or sold in the U.K and I can't find anyone who has ever been on them over here. I've been told by forum members about 'In house pharmacy' off the Oz coast but I really would like to purchase this product closer to home. The import duty and tax is high for this type of purchase and all U.S members take this medication for granted.

to say all U.S. members take it for granted is rather uncalled for.  you keep posting you wish they where availiable, and clearly they arent based off of your numerous postings so the only route you will be able to go is inhouse or some online pharmacy or something, instead of coming online saying we take it all for granted and posting about it over and over.   there are products that arent availiable here in the united states that are there (androcur spl?)

lol ;D Believe or not my father, old man like he is, has a pump subcutaneously implanted into his arm and he's under the impression it's estrogen and why he now more easily cries alot but somehow . . .

lol I think not! Good for one year and cost is $5,000 each, he's got prostrate cancer so best guess it's "casodex" which I also take for similar reasons.  ;)

Gee, now isn't that a coincidence, "like father like daughter" (although I'm not quite so sure he  understands / appreciates the full humor of this yet)!

Yes, I would rather find Aa supplier closer to home, maybe somewhere in europe? the in house pharmacy supplies from the australian coast. We do get heavy customs fees in the U.K and then more fees when the stuff is delivered.

I agree there are some things we get here that you can't get in the U.S like cypretone acitate. But I want to get on shots as I have never tried them and I'm at my lowest point because pills don't seem to be working for me.I'm sorry if I seem a moany guts but it is upsetting when I can't the basic medication I need and I've been in transition for 10 years.

NB, sorry too! Didn't mean to make light of yer situation. For a dinner and a "show around" - what city are you? - what do you think customs would say if an American visited for a night or two and . . .

lol brought you a 1/2 gallon? ;D

I'm about 30 miles from London. I live out in the country but there is a good rail link into London. If you occasionally visit the U.K it may be a way round the situation for me?

Im sorry too if I seemed out of line or rude.  I guess I too wouldnt be to pleased if I had been trying to get on shots for a while and being denied it simply because it isnt allowed in the country while it is so in others.  I wish I could help.  The pills arent doing anything at all? even taking them sublingual (spelling??)  And what does your dr. say in regards to this?
